Here's the inside scoop to some of the amazing ingredients we use in Smart for Life products and how they work as better alternatives for this holiday season.
The reason we included Lepticore® in our products is because of the amazing results and Lepticore®’s proven effectiveness with weight loss. LeptiCore® is a proprietary blend of plant-based polysaccharides, esterified fatty acids, pomegranate, polyphenols and ellagic acid, beta carotene, and aphanizomenon flosaquae extract, which are components shown to reduce stored body fat, enhance weight loss, act as antioxidants and ameliorate the symptoms of metabolic syndrome. Lepticore® has been studied at multiple Universities to prove that it is helpful in maintaining weight loss and suppressing appetite. One of the case studies done at the University of Yaounde 1, shows that over an 8 week period the study groups lost a significant amount of weight at a low dose of Lepticore® (Group A), and at a higher dose (Group B), they noticed significantly greater reductions in body weight and triglyceride, blood glucose, and C-reactive protein levels, as well as increased serotonin levels. Just like Lepticore®, Allulose has had a ton of positive reviews, and has been an integral part of a ton of new low carb and weight loss products. Allulose is a great substitute for sugar because it doesn't spike blood sugar levels and is easy to digest. Since sugar has become a concern because of its negative effects on the body and increasing weight gain, finding an immediate sugar replacement is in everyone's best interest. Allulose is derived from natural sources and occurs naturally in certain fruits including jackfruit, figs and raisins. It is not overly sweet and won't give you that sugar high feeling after eating a baked good containing it.
